Crock Pot Beef Carne Asada Tacos

This is one of the best recipes for beef tacos that you'll ever eat and taste in your life. You use flank steak in this recipe and it really works out great. In case you've never thought of putting steak in the crock pot the flank steak in this crock pot recipe turns out perfect each and every time you make it.

What you do is rub the flank steak down with a spicy rub before you put it into the crock pot. I suggest rubbing the flank steak down and letting it set covered with plastic wrap or in a gallon zip lock bag for a couple of hours before you put the flank steak into the crock pot.

Spicy Rub For Your Flank Steak

One Teaspoon Black Pepper.

One Teaspoon Ground Sea Salt.

Two Teaspoons Chili Powder.

Two Teaspoons Cumin.

One Teaspoon Ground Cayenne Pepper.

One Teaspoon Garlic Powder.

One Teaspoon Onion Powder.

You want to mix all the rub ingredients together and mix them up well in a bowl. Then lay the flank steak down on a plate and rub the rub into the flank steak well. Now either wrap the flank steak with plastic wrap or place it in a gallon zip lock bag and refrigerate at least two hours.

You will want to have two pounds of flank steak.

When you get ready to put your ingredients together in the crock pot spray the inside of your crock pot with vegetable cooking spray to make clean up easier later.

Put your rubbed flank steak in the bottom of the crock pot and then put the below items in the crock pot on top of the flank steak.

1. Two Seeded And Sliced Jalapenos

2. One Seeded And Sliced Green Bell Pepper.

3. One Seeded And Sliced Red Bell Pepper.

4. One Purple Or Red Sweet Onion Peeled And Sliced Thin.

Cook on low for eight hours and then remove your flank steak and shred it with forks to pull your meat apart.

You can serve the steak and veggies on flour or corn tortillas along with avocado, sour creme, and guacamole. I guarantee you that these are some of the best tacos you will ever eat in your life.

You can cook your flank steak this way and make some delicious tacos this way.

No you do not add water to the crock pot. Just keep it on low and you'll have perfect flank steak that won't dry out.

Six Chicken Thighs Cut Up In Small Bite Size Pieces

One Sixteen Ounce Jar Salsa

Cut your chicken thighs that you have removed the skin and bone from up into small bite size pieces and then put them and the taco seasoning in the crock pot. Now pour in the salsa and stir everything up well.

Cook on high for six hours. Be sure to stir up from the bottom of the pot several times while your crock pot tacos are cooking.
